How to apply an alginate mask correctly?

• It is important to apply the alginate mask quickly and dilute it with water at room temperature!
• Apply the mask to the face with a spatula, including the eyes and lips. Apply the mask in a thick layer, it should exert direct pressure on the skin.
• The mask completely hardens in a few minutes.
• The next stage is plasticization, the mask becomes like rubber, seizes and fixes.
• The resulting mask contributes to the deep penetration of useful elements and moisturizing the skin. Before applying the mask for a more effective effect, you can apply a serum or emulsion.
• The mask is removed in one motion, from the chin to the forehead. Rinse off the rest of the mask with water.

Active ingredients

Allantoin has a diverse effect on the skin: it softens the surface layer of the epidermis, contributing to the rejection of dead cells. Stimulates the processes of skin regeneration due to exfoliation. And due to softening and moisturizing makes the skin more smooth, matte, elastic. Allantoin is used as a means of combating irritations, redness, spots on the skin. Protects against the negative effects of free radicals and slows down the appearance of wrinkles.

Sodium alginate is a natural marine polysaccharide from brown and red algae. Sodium alginate helps to strengthen collagen cells, regulates the water balance of the skin, promotes moisture retention, enhances skin activity and metabolism. As part of alginate masks, alginate helps to normalize oily skin, tightens pores, reduces wrinkles, tones and improves microcirculation, and removes toxins.

Diatomaceous earth is extracted from diatoms of marine or freshwater origin. Diatomite gently exfoliates the keratinized epidermis, deeply cleanses the pores and evens out the overall skin texture, acts as an excellent absorbent. In addition, diatomaceous earth contributes to the treatment of inflammatory processes of the skin, acne, accelerates the regeneration of the epidermis, participates in the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

Mode of application

1. Measure out 20 g (g) of the mask and pour into a separate dry container.
2. Add 50-60 g (g) of slightly warm water (temperature 22-23 °C).
3. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
4. Apply the mask on the face with a spatula in a dense layer.
5. Leave for 20-25 minutes until completely dry.
6. Remove the mask in one layer, starting from the chin to the forehead.
