Tonic for light peeling effectively renews the skin, removes black spots, narrows pores. Without fragrances.
The complex includes the following ANA acids:
- Malic acid (in sugar maple extract) in addition to exfoliating action, stimulates cells, enhancing cellular metabolism.
- Citric acid (from orange and lemon) has a bleaching effect that is enhanced in the presence of tartaric acid. It has antioxidant and bactericidal properties.
- Tartaric acid (from the extract of sugar maple and oranges) has an exfoliating, whitening and moisturizing effect.
- Lactic acid (from blueberry berries and leaves) has a pronounced moisturizing and exfoliating effect.
- Glycolic acid (from sugar cane) has the smallest molecular weight, so it easily penetrates the epidermal barrier and has the most pronounced effect. Glycolic acid also has the ability to reduce hyperpigmentation.
- Black willow bark extract (a source of BHA acids) contains natural salicylic acid, which has a significantly less irritating effect at the same efficiency than synthetic acid at the same concentration.
- Salicylic acid exfoliates dead cells, cleans skin pores, has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Because salicylic acid is a derivative of aspirin (both are salicylates; aspirin is also known as acetyl salicylic acid), it has some of the anti-inflammatory properties of aspirin.
BHA relieves inflammation, eliminates redness and swelling, significantly helps the healing process of the skin. This, in turn, prevents the formation of scars and reduces the chance of further acne formation. The antimicrobial properties of salicylic acid help fight acne-causing bacteria. All these properties make BHA an indispensable tool for skin renewal and beauty.
- Trehalose is a special sugar that is found in many plants, in particular, berries, as well as algae, yeast, fungi and insects, especially in those that live in unfavorable conditions - in the desert, at very high or very low temperatures. This sugar in conditions of extreme temperatures (both high and low) becomes vitreous, enveloping each cell.
As a result, such "glass armor" prevents the destruction of proteins (DNA, RNA) and the cell wall. In cosmetology, this amazing phenomenon of trehalose is used in face care products: protection from frost and heat, elimination of peeling and redness of the skin. But its main function is moisturizing.
In combination with other moisturizers (for example, sodium lactate), it is able to prolong the moisturizing effect of such a product for up to 48 hours: the cells accumulate water, allowing it to evaporate very slowly from the skin.
