Jessner Peel (JESSNER Peel)

Jessner Peel (total acidity 42%, pH-2.0) is a combined chemical peel that can be used as a superficial (1 layer) or medium (3+ layers), depending on the number of layers applied.

It is an effective alternative to surgery at the first signs of aging and photodamage to the skin. Peeling stimulates the production of moisturizing factor, triggers neocollagenesis and lightens pigmentation.

Active ingredients (concentration all 14%):

• Salicylic acid - Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, keratolytic, drying effect. Reduces the secretion of sebaceous glands.
• Lactic acid - Soft, gentle effect. Moisturizes and evenly retains moisture in the layers of the epidermis.
• Resorcinol - Antibacterial, whitening, astringent and cauterizing effect. Enhances the effect of other components, tans and disinfects the skin.

Diagnostics (Indications):

• Effects of acne (post-acne), comedones, enlarged pores.
• Hyperpigmentation, freckles.
• Minor wrinkles, fold formation.
• Excessive activity of the sebaceous glands, seborrhea.
• Peeling, scars, scars, hyperkeratosis, ingrown hair.

Important: Mandatory sensitivity testing (on the bend of the elbow or behind the ear) before the procedure.

Depth of exposure and rehabilitation:

- Superficial peeling: One layer is applied for a short time. The reaction is mild, the skin may only be slightly red.
- Medium peeling: At least three layers are applied (with an exposure time of up to 2 minutes for each). Result: smoothing of wrinkles, removal of pigmentation, smoothing of scars.
Reaction: The skin turns red. A white "frost effect" may appear. The next day it acquires a brown tint (due to the darkening of the resorcinol).
Recovery: A film is formed, which falls off on its own in 3-4 days (cannot be torn off).
- Deep peeling: Not recommended due to the high risk of complications.

Procedure (Applied by a specialist):

1. Cleansing and degreasing the skin (with alcohol/lotion).
2. Applying Vaseline to sensitive areas (corners of the eyes/lips, moles).
3. Quickly applying Jessner's solution with cotton pads to dry skin (forehead, temples, chin, cheeks, nose, eyelids).
4. The procedure takes 2 minutes, accompanied by a strong burning sensation.
5. After 2 minutes, the liquid evaporates, a white coating appears (salicylic acid crystals) - its uniformity is judged by its uniformity.
6. Applying the next layer (the amount is determined by the specialist in diagnostics and the desired depth).
7. Leave the peeling on the face (do not wash off) for at least 4 hours.
8. Removing the remaining solution and applying the "Soothing" Cream.

Recommended course: 6-8 procedures with an interval of 30 days (1 procedure per month) for a lasting result.

Post-peeling care:
- Do not wash for 4 hours after peeling.
- For the first 3-10 days, lubricate the skin with Vaseline, then with "Soothing Cream".
- Sunbathing, sauna, solarium are strictly prohibited.
- Mandatory use of sunscreen with a high protection factor for three months and limitation of exposure to the sun (UV rays increase pigmentation).

Contraindications:
- Herpes in the acute stage, fresh sunburn.
- Inflammation or damage to the skin at the site of peeling.
- Couperose.
- Allergy to the components of the composition.
- Oncological diseases.
